My name is Kevin Merrill and this is my E-Portfolio. This website serves to document and reflect on the academic, professional, and extracurricular experiences of my college journey that have shaped me into who I am today.
Who am I?
I was born in Kent, WA and went to Kent-Meridian High School where I completed the intensive International Baccalaureate diploma program. I started school at the University of Washington in 2013. I knew I wanted to make an impact on the world through the built environment and I dabbled
in architecture, design, business, and construction management classes before finding my home in the Community, Environment, and Planning (CEP) program. CEP is an interdisciplinary major that allows students to customize their academic experience through Individual Study Plans. My academic and professional focus is using business, research, and design strategies to solve problems in the modern urban environment. While taking my CEP courses I have also completed Sales and Marketing internships. Details about my individual study plan, selected academic work, extra-curricular experiences, and internships can all be found throughout this e-portfolio. Take a look!
