In my sophomore year of college I decided to "Go Greek" and join Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made and provided me with numerous opportunities for networking, new life experiences, and professional skill development. Joining a frat pushed me out of my comfort zone and in addition to gaining a group of life-long friends my fraternity also helped me to maintain a high GPA and provided me with opportunities to volunteer and raise money for philanthropy. Within the fraternity I served as a Social Chairman during my junior year. As social chairman I helped to plan all of the fraternity's events. This position came with an incredible amount of responsibility and pressure and taught me organization, management, and event planning skills that I find myself using frequently in my professional experiences.
